Its not 'self-hatred'. Honestly, it took me more than five years to speak russian fluently. Another two years to learn your slang, though i still can't say that i know it fully.
I have decided to learn russian, because:
-1. It is told that russian is one of hardest languages. Mostly because of cyrillic alphabet.
-2. I know that enough people speak russian in general, it can be useful

, and as you see - i did it.
To keep this topic up i must mention that im still learning. After im completely done with russian, im looking forwards to learn hungarian.
